This is one of the plan views from the gun crew manual. Send me an e-mail if these would be helpful.

"Early British Quick Firing Artillery" by Leonard Trawin is the book which has the necessary drawings.

You can buy a large scale (a3 I think) plan of the 18 pounder from the Royal Artillery Museum for about £2.50 - unfortunately didn't have a way of safely transporting it back to my flat on Saturday so didn't get one, but you can probably get it online.

If you check on the "bookbutler" site, you should find it on offer. If not, I have it somewhere.....in what I might call an archive if it were better organised. I should be able to find it. There are separate drawings for the barrel, breech, sights, etc. The only omission is the oil reservoir added during WW1. Otherwise, it seems quite comprehensive and accurate.
If you find a copy and decide to buy it, all you will need is a calculator and a good copier, but if you need scans, I should be able to do it in a few days.
Good luck.

Colleagues, I ask you to help with the information on British 1smile.gifounder QF field gun. Now I build model Emhar's gun and scratchbuilding limber.

I saw that you mentioned books and scans. If there is a possibility share scans. My mail: zis30@mail.ru

I am sorry for my English.

Thanks
