Bovington's Mk V in London.

I wasn't aware this had happened. The Mk V survivor made an appearance in the Lord Mayor's Parade in London last year - not under her own steam but on a low-loader, obviously with a bit of barbed wire here and there. Here's a grab from a very short clip, only 2-3 seconds. It seems she is no longer a runner.

I believe it is still a runner, but the Museum don't want to risk damage.

Running on hard roads often resulted in track breakage. And there aren't many garages that have spare WW1 track plates in stock (bet they haven't kept up their AA get you home cover).

Hmmm. That sounds to me like Catch 22.

More a case of not being able to have your cake and eat it.

Found a film of it actually running on the British Pathe site yesterday, and as recently as 1961!
