But you allready done the most of the work, maybe Peter could add the list in the Landship pages were people could add the pic one by one...
So you just have to check to avoid mistakes.

Ivan,
Two of these armoured cars did end up at the Belgian Autos-Canons-Mitrailleuses Corps.

Could you tell me if the were painted in a standard colour or not ?

They had a military registration number plate. A new one was issued in 1917. Could you tell which colours were these plates ?

Georges,
i think (exactly I don't know) this two AC for Belges (Armstrong-Whiteworth-Fiat and Izhorsky-Mgebroff-Renault) musst be standart green (olive-green). Armstrong is possible english-green and Izhorsky must be russian-green (identical).
So see Austin 1-st series in colou (Postcart of 1916).

This the FIAT armoured car reputed to have been personnally donated by the tsar to the ACM. Is that an Armstrong armour ?

What is the meaning of the painted text ?

On the armored car reduction is written: Isp. Kom. S.R.S. i Kr. Dep.
I do not know precisely, but I think that it: Executive Committee of the Union of Russian Socialists and Red Deputies. It is a photo of 1917. Petrograd, bolshevik revolution.

It is the English car armstrong-Whitworth on chassis FIAT (Fiat/1915). Russian FIAT of Izhorsky factory (Fiat/1916) was similar, but not precisely such. They are easy for distinguishing - in Russian of a tower cylinders (as to all Austins), and on English they are cut off along the edges, on English Lanchester and the Rolls-Royce too similar towers.

Executive Committee of Soviet of Councils of Working, Soldier's and Country deputies confuse

Second AW-Fiat is also typical for 1917 - wroten "svoboda" = Freedom!

Thank you for this great and big list. Very useful.
So, one Isotta-Fraschini was supplied to Russia in 1914. I suppose that this is the one reported as designed by Jarrott. Do you know if it had an octogonal or a cylindrical turret ?

yes, the Isotta-Fraschini was buy by Jarrot!
I don't know exactly, what was it. I have photos from original car and from rebuilt car in Izhorsky work by project Mgebroff. (In Izhorsky work stand armoured-carosserie from Isotta, old)

So, your list indicates correctly that there was only ONE Isotta-Fraschini (reputed to have been built by Jarrott).

However, your list shows also the name of this Jarrott associated with the earlier Armstrong-Whitworth armoured car. My British expert tells me that he has no records of this.

Would it be possible that you check this information and tell me which evidence you would have of this evidence.

I know - Jarrot was no producent - dealer and constructor only...
In Russian acts stand:

1915 a dealer from the British trade house Best & Co in St. Petersburg make contract with Russian military ministerium for sale of armoured cars Armstrong-Whitworth. The first cars comming to Russia in spring 1915 - 10 cars Armstrong-Whitworth-Jarrot (so wroten in Russian acts!!! Also in one act wroten: Armstrong-Whitworth - Jarrott-Letts).
Nobody know exactly what for chassis have the cars! I think it was Wolsley. This cars was not so good - armour was to heavy fot this chassis! Russian military ministerium wont others chassis und Armstrong-Whitworth maked new AC for Rissia of a chassis from car FIAT with back axsle of lorry FIAT 15-Ter - 1915 comming 15 Armstrong-Whitworth-FIAT, 1916 next 15 AC's - total 30.

I have only two photos of "Armstrong-Whitworth-Jarrott-Letts" - there wheels was light! Look at the pictures!The Armstrong-Whitworth-FIAT you know also (one was by Belgians in Russia).

First photo is 100% Jarrott by Russ. Imperial arm, second photo is mayby rebuilt Jarrot (with Fiat back axle) by Red army.
