Hello everyone I'm new to the forum and I haven't built a model kit since I was 15 years old and that was 30 years ago!!
Since I have an interest in World War I, I've decided to build some WWI models which brings me to the question of which kit, that is currently available, is the best Renault FT-17 Tank in AEF service? Something in the 1/48 to 1/35 scale.
Also, are there any model companies that send out catalogs? Does Squadron Signal still do that?
Actually, I suppose it would depend on which scale. There are some very good renditions in 1/35 scale of late. I build in 1/32 and find the ScaleLink offering quite nice; even though it is likely the oldest of fT kits available. In 1/48 you might find the GasOline kit appealing.
I think the members' natural modesty was holding them back. IMHO the RPM FT in 1/35 is very good. It has US Army decals.
The Matchbox/Revell one is supposedly 1/76 and is noticeably smaller than the HäT.
