Good find, elbavaro! Nice little picture.

The 17th Battalion, Tank Corps, in the breakout from Amiens. The Austin armoured cars were towed across the trench system by tanks (two to a tank), and disrupted comms behind the enemy lines.

We had quite a discussion a while back about the Wills Cigarette cards, trying to identify all the vehicles, and there were one or two that we couldn't agree on.

The Tanzanian stamp thing looks as if it might have been some sort of commemorative set of cards from which you removed the stamp by tearing round the perforations. I wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about that.

I have some complete card books in my collection. As soos as I am back from skiing in southern tyrolia, I will scan a few cards regarding AC's and tanks.

I am also thinking about to start a thread regarding propaganda postcards with AC's and tanks. How about that?
