Fred Crismon says that the side-on view of this vehicle shows troops of the California National Guard, but this pic is from a recruiting brochure showing Camp Zachary Taylor, Kentucky.

And the recruiting brochure (but it is called souvenir folder) in my collcetion says U.S. National Army, Camp Dodge, Des Moines, Iowa.
I guess they made the same (or nearly same) cover for all, they printed the name of the camp on it and the inside is maybe totally different in all of them.
That is a great picture. The vehicle actually looks quite formidable.
