Armstrong-Whitworth Armored Car
Permalink

Greetings,
Attached is a photo of an Armstrong-Whitworth Armor Car in the hands of Japanese Soldiers in Vladivostock in 1919. I assume it is one of 36 Armstrong-Whitworth cars delivered to the Tsar between 1913 and 1916.

My question, though, is this: Does anyone know the circumstances in which the Japanese soldiers came into possession of this (or even other) Armstrong-Whitworth armored car?

Thank you,

John A-G

Thank you so much, Ivan!  Your information is helpful and I am changing the identification on my photo to show the CORRECT attribution!

Very much appreciated,
