Hi,

Lombard info.

It'd look good as a model, were they used in WW1?

Hi Lincoln Tanker, great link there this is more direct...

http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2010/01/05/lombard-the-great-steam-powered-horse-emancipator/#more-19419

http://oldsnowplowequipment.wetpaint.com/page/Lombard+Loghaulers+and+Tractors

As far as營 know the only two armoured tractors were used during the Russian Civilwar period posted by Ivan in this thread...

http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=63528&p=3&topicID=29722257

unarmoured ones seems to have been used as well been but only in Russia etc which makes sense as these were originally designed with snow in mind..
perhaps Ivan can enlighten us...

This type of vehicle seems to be a fairly common type at this time a number of manufacturers producing patents and similar designs mostly as heavy Argriculture haulage, holts and rustons爈ook different but broadly fall into the same catagory untill you remove the front wheel/wheels and create a true Caterpiller tractor.....
