Hello, dear members!

Do you know something about the Turkish AM Hotchkiss?

There is a short reference in B.T. White:

Four of these were ordered by the Sultan of Turkey and delivered in 1909. The Young Turks revolution broke out soon afterwards. The cars were taken over by the revolutionaries and used in the overthrow of the Sultan's government.

but Young Turk Revolution was in 1908 (the dethronement Abdul Hamid II followed 27 April 1909 his successor became Mehmed V) and the sultanate was overthrown at last in 1922. I heard once that these armoured cars fought in the first Balkan war - is the truth?

I don't know much about the period and can only tell you what B.T. White says. The Hotchkiss Society says they were seized on delivery and never reached the Sultan.

As for the Balkan Wars, it's obviously possible but I don't have any info. Sorry, Gregorus.
