Very interesting.

May I add an image of #506 Mephisto - this one is from the AWM Archives. My local A7V gurus say it's an image they haven't seen before. The tank has been disarmed and has acquired the AIF cartoon on the right hand side.

Hello, 

My name is Victor Kushmaniuk and I'm producing a television documentary about Great War tank battles. I'm looking for first hand accounts from men who served in tanks (memoirs, diaries, interviews, etc.) on both sides. In particular, I'm having some challenges finding German accounts (either by infantry or by tankers) of what it was like seeing tanks for the first time, what it was like fighting tanks and ultimately - what it was like fighting inside tanks from the German perspective. If you can offer any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
