For those people who aren't totally focused on the Great War - this is a heads up.

There is a 2 part ABC documentary on the Kokoda campaign in WW2. This was the attempt by the Japanese Army to capture Port Moresby by the overland route from Goma. The Kokoda track crosses the Owen Stanley Ranges - some of the steepest jungle terrain in PNG. The documentary is available on ABC IView (streaming TV) - www.abc.net.au/iview.
Episode 1 expires on 6th May, episode 2 will be up on 30 April.

Regards,

Charlie

Damn - Part 1 is available as a torrent - check isohunt.com - there is a Kokoda movie look for the source as TV - the movie is best avoided.

I guess you could view it via a web proxy but I'm not sure there are too many of those in Oz.

Regards,

Charlie
