WW1 artwork for you

Hi!
New member, I already introduced myself a bit in http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=63528&p=3&topicID=35596915
I decided to add some of my other WW1-related works:

11th Month, 11th Day, 11th Hour (acrylics 2010)
re-do of my older work, the story of the German machine gunner firing until exacly 11 o'clock. Standing up, walking few yards towards the enemy lines, taking his steel helmet off and taking a bow, like a musician after finishing a concert. Then he put his helmet back on and walked back to his own lines.

The Wire (acrylics 2010)
Austro-Hungarian soldier struggling with the barbed wire obstacle in Isonzo river, 1917.

Face to Face (acrylics 2007)
Inspired by an account of a French and Germans soldier accidentaly confronting each other in the same shell hole. After a silent moment, the two in the honoring sense left each other in peace, took their water and went back to their own lines.

"Sniper, Sir" (acrylics 2009)
British trench in Mesopotamia, 1916.

The Dug-out (acrylics 2009)
German soldiers in their dug-out.

Too Late (acrylics 2010)
based on a sketch of a friend. The guardian angel arriving to a wounded soldier just few minutes too late.
