A7V Driving Controls Information Needed
Permalink Closed

Hello Everyone, I am currently working on an A7V project. I am attempting to scratch build the projected twin 77 mm gun carrier, And I need some good pictures or information as to what the drivers department and engines looked like.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Get hold of hundley & strasheim or schneider & strasheim both of the books go into this matter and have very good photos but for more detailed description and more photos by the first book mentioned.

Like I say the first book serves through all your German WWI tank needs. but the book is getting harder to get.

Did you look on Thomas Anderson's Panzerpixel site? He has a photo of it, though it is my impression that it shows one of the three A7V chassis set aside for the A7V Flakpanzer. The guns appear to be modified Russian Model 02 76.2mm guns converted for high angle fire (a common enough conversion that the germans manufactured 76.2mm ammunition when captured German stocks ran out). I am curious about any information on these.
