 Hello everyone , I need some help on a new painting . Does anyone have photos of the tank factory at Lincoln? I have a few in some books but any new ones would be great.smile

This is the only photo I could find. Never-the-less, you can more or less guess the rest of its apperance.

Here is a very clear image of a female factory worker from the war. I hope that you find her useful!

Mick,

There is an excelent photo of the Whippet Production Line (with workers) at the Foster Factory on page 161 of Richard Pullens book The Landships of Lincoln (Second Edition).  This is in the "taped reminiscences of William Foster and Co employees" section.  If you don't have a copy it is available on that auction site and well worth the read
