At the moment (Monday July 19th, 11 am) BBC News 24 is showing 'live' the ceremony at Fromelles. There is a documentary on Channel 4 in the UK tonight at 8pm.

Nigel Bristow restored the Royal Logistic Corps Museum's GS Wagon which was used to carry the coffin during the ceremony. I attended the burial and dedication of the cemetery, it was a superb and moving ceremony, and the efforts gone to locate the relatives was inspiring

Hmmm ... and I see from my previous post I need to learn to spell "requiescat" and anyway it should have been "requiescant" for the plural. Proof positive that Latin is not genetic or that any germ of it is un-nascent (my mother studied it).

hi rob must put the record straight whilst nigel was on the job he did not do any metal work,wheels,coffin board ,raveboards or draught pole this was done by a n other who rebuilt his first g.s. mk x while nigel was still in nappies and pontius was still a navigator and not a pilot .      regards tiffy
