I've just been in touch with Bovington Tank Museum with a view to buying one of their plan packs for the MKIV.
They advised to 'hang fire' as they have just had a stack of original drawings donated by Vickers and are working hard to get these into a revised pack as soon as possible.
I'm not sure if it was David Fletcher I spoke to, but the gentlemen said the drawings were about the size of bedsheets and have had to be sent away for specialist attention to have them reproduced in a more suitable size!

Or how about a Tank bed? The sides would be the rhomboid shape complete with track detail and the bed as the main hull. In my book that would beat a boring racing car bed anyday!
If it was a success, it might even be worthwhile doing one in child size...

A bed cover like that would keep me awake all night...
Just another thought: if Vickers has kept those drawings for over 90 years, what further drawings do they still have in their archives? That's a question that'll keep me awake this night...
Spent Monday and yesterday at the Bovington archives and I've seen some of the scanned drawings. Be aware these are very detailed technical engineering drawings and may actually be too detailed for some purposes (or scales).
