Which I don't, because they were British tanks.

It's too bad there isn't as good a model of the beute Mark IVs as there are of the 20 A7Vs.

that image is in the Tankograd A7V book - the caption says it's 506 "Mephisto" near Marchienne-au-Pont in mid-April 1918.

Regards,

Charlie

Hello,

The train with many "Beute Panzerwagen" was captured by french troops in Givet (Ardennes) in november 1918.
Yours sincerely,

So are they "beute beute", or "butin beute"?

Thank you, Guy.

Very nice! There are not too many photos of German Mk IV:s with new model crosses.

According to the date and place this might be after the last battle of German tanks... K-Abt. 12, 13 and 14 participated in battle between Valenciennes and Sebourg on 1st Nov 18. Pont-a-Pierre is less than 20 km south of those to places.
