.. please note the piece on the lower right of the foto pointed obliquely past the two-wheeled carts just below. It is a Ruski 76.2mm M1900 divisional gun, and what makes it interesting is the splinter shield. Crudely cut, they appear on some of the M 1900s that fell into German hands. This was a very good QL piece with a superior performing projectile. It evolved , of course, into the excellent M 1902.
