Hi guys, I've been looking at this site for years but I'm just now joining this forum.
Here are some pictures of my Mk IV I managed a 1st place at the 2009 IPMS USA Nationals. Pretty good since I'm mostly an aircraft guy and it was the first piece of armour I have completed since 1985.

I used Grandt Line rivets, Airwaves photoetched gun ports, Scale Link machine guns, Panzer Shop tracks, brass nuts and bolts and chains, and a lot of styrene, brass, copper and aluminum stock. The Scale Link guns were a mistake since I knew they were out of scale, 1/32, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. I used real rust on the tracks and exhaust, but I ended up painting it because I didn't like the color. I used lacquer for the base coat, it was washed over with several shades of oil paint, and it was dry-brushed with a combination of lacquer and acrylic. No pastels were used although it does look like it.
It might not be 100% accurate but I tried to get an "accurate" feel. I just couldn't get enough solid information at the time.
I got an Accurate Armor Whippet at the same time as this build, around 2005-2007. I've been tinkering with it a lot lately. I'll be asking questions about that one soon!

... There was also a REALLY nice looking Mk.V at this show, I guess the Interus kit?
I'm pretty sure that's the Emhar Mk V. The sponsons certainly are Emhar's as the rear plate is at 90š and the Interus kit only gives you the port male and starboard female and this model has both male sponsons. The other point is the towing point at the rear horn. It is molded solid exactly like Emhars. Interus has an open point for the shackle to fit onto.
EDIT: And I could have saved myself all the trouble of pointing out the distinguishing features that show why it is the Emhar kit and just read the caption under the model. In my defence, I didn't get a good night's sleep. END EDIT.
