Mk I tow Shackles?

I think it will be a part on the inside back panels when will be monted a drive sprokets.Airfix model have a two parts - ''shackles'' on the rear end[inside panels].

Would it be possible to see the picture? The only images I know of have a Mk IV towing a load.

Plastikk, those shackles on the Airfix kit are part of the steering gear although it probably would have been possible to re-use them as towing points.�

Hi Mark. I will scan the picture after work. It is from the 1980 Military Modeler and is a single side view of a Mk I in Palistine1917. It was an article on the tanks in Gaza .

I think they used a shackle attached to a gear axle bearing, as they did on the later tanks.

There appears to be one such attachment point on the inner bearing on one of the Gaza Tanks.
