Those blasted misplaced hubs!

As you might have guessed I'm talking about the wheel hubs on the aft section of Emhar's 1/35 Mark IV tank that are too far forward.  Has anyone been successfully able to resolve this problem, and if so how?  Thanks.

Haven't tried fixing it on the 1:72 version but a thought I had was making a cast (or several) of the hub. Sand off the offending hub and attach the best of your copies to the correct area, which would require some of the last joining strip to be removed.

Yes, it should be possible to do some scratching.  BTW while on the subject, I noticed that some tanks have an extra hook on that hub.  What purpose did it serve?

It was an attachment point for a towing shackle. There are also ones fitted to the inner side of the horns.
