RR armored car, radiator doors
Permalink

I'm doing a large scratch built RR armored car, the only thing that remains a mystery is the linkage from the cab to the latches on the armored doors in front of the radiator.

If anyone has a photo or sketch it would be most helpful.

Thanks.

Jim

Thanks, I have lots of photos of the links on the outside, I had a photo of the lever mounted on the dashboard to open or close the doors.

There are two well done write ups on the Resicast and Roden cars but neither include the linkage. I'm going to assume the linkage is just a length of bar stock.

I know this sounds anal but I'm trying to get as much detail as possible.

Thanks again.

Jim

Well, I found most of what I needed, if you look at the sixth car down you can see the linkage bar. Neither of the two kits have this detail.

Sorry this does work on my google, but not here
