Renault AC 4 Wheels behind

Hello, found on the renault site: http://www.renaultoloog.nl/stamboom.htm , is this really aged 1914, wheels look more modern.

Looks unusual, the sidewalls seem to be much wider than on the tyres of the period.

D,

Could it be that the site above (Stamboom.....) is wrong concerning the date (1914), this site says that first vehicles 6 wheels (Renault) were made early twenties. If You look at the pictures it seems to me the same vehicle (only  with "doubled" wheels for the desert), So I think my photo is a civil (commercial) vehicle to be used on normal roads. That would explain the "modern" type of wheels (tires)

 Hi everybody,

The vehicle shown by d.fernetti on his first image is not à Renault.

It is a Latil U " colonial ", lightweight four-wheel drive, 1913, with regulation ' break d'escadrille" bodywork for French military aviation.

Kind regards

François

Thanks for the correction, François! I had these scans from an unknown book and certainly was a bit clueless.

Can anyone identify the rest of the vehicles? I wonder what a French Latil would do in a German text book! Must have raised a few monocled eyebrows in its time, for sure.

All anti-aircraft wagons are German test models before the war.

On third scan left:Daimler BAK with 7,1 cm Krupp cannon, 1910.

On third scan right: Daimler armoured BAK with 7,1 cm Krupp cannon, 1910.

On fourth scan upper: Ehrhardt armoured BAK with 5 cm Ehrhardt cannon, 1906. The pictures of the guns on left belong to this one.

On fourth scan lower: Ehrhardt BAK with 6,5 mm Ehrhardt cannon 1910.

Hello all,
The "Renault AC" in the first post was in fact a Japanese cavalary armored car made on Renault truck chassis in 1920s. I'll find some more photos later.
