Machine Gun Jackets For The Mark IV
Permalink

For the Emhar 1/35 Mark IV tanks I wanted to cut off the plastic shafts on the machine guns and fit hollow tubing in their place, along with another tube inside for the gun barrel, which would add tremendously to the realism.  Anyone else tried it yet, and if so, how did they do it?

Hello tom! It depends which mg you wanted to do? If it is a lewis gun, you can take an electrical connecting wire! it's a white thin metal tube that you can cut and glue!

I did mean the later Lewis gun, which had a thin-wall outer jacket which I assume was not part of the gun itself but rather the gun mounting.  What diameter tubing would be good for said outer jacket, if available?
