I am starting to collect photographs etc for sets of German figures for release in early 2012,which I can pass on to the sculptor. The sets will follow the usual W^D styles. I would like to include a "sapper" set but am not too happy with the pic's I have so far, have any of you any suitable pic's of sappers also I do need photo's of German wheelbarrows.
They shall grow not old,as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.
Thanks,I have just realised I should have asked for pictures of German Pioneers, has anyone got any which I could use for getting the figure sets done ???
I suspect Hans speaks Flemish, in which case I think it's kruiwagen.

I would be happy to see a German flamethrower team (one with the flame gun followed with the one carrying the fuel tank).
Other "flame" sets would be welcomed as the large static "Grof" with three German pionneers ; a set with French soldiers carrying a "Schilt" flamethrower, British soldiers with a "Vincent" apparatus and, why not, the "Livens Large Gallery Flamethrower" with figures.
There are two books from Schiffer particularly useful for information about these weapons.
Of course I'm not sure, but could it be that the "gas thrower" is a "Milk bucket" with a gasmask put on it. Here at home I have something similar (without the mask). Hope You are right. If wanted can post picture of my "antique" milk bucket.
