Glueing soft plastics

Some of HaT's recent figures are soft plastic, like polyethylene, but can be stuck with polystyrene cement. Anyone know what this stuff is?


Now I'm told that Loctite have brought out a glue which bonds standard polyethylene. I'd be intersted to know if anyone can report on its effectiveness.
