I am about to start work on the Reviresco Ehrhardt 1917 armoered car and am looking for information. What color humbrol/tamiya ect were they painted? It looks like some shade of grey would do.
I am also looking for information on the units that used it and where.
I understand the Lithuians captured 4 the Poles captured 2 and the Red Army captured 1 out of 12 made
Lithuanians not captured Ehrhardt/17 This are some "Behelfspanzerwagen". Vonderen nobody know exactly on which they built chassis. There are armored trucks, maybe Ehrhardt, maybe not. Some people say - Daimler... Daimler but they are not. There armoured trucks had chain-drive, all Daimler heavy trucks had gear-drive ("Ritzelantrieb").
Red Russians captured 1918 one Ehrhardt/15 (later captured the White army) and one Ehrhardt/17.
Hi! Only one Ehrhardt M17 the Polish used was relieved from the Germans on February 7, 1919 on a highway in northern Poland by an insurgent company ( 16 soliders ) of the former German Wielkopolski {Greater Polish} forces. The Ehrhardt was incorperated into the Colonel Grudzielski , formed on March 19, 1919 with the 15th rifle division and by September 1920, the 2nd Armored Car Division. The Ehrhardt was named Colonel Grudzielski {Pulkownik Kazimierz Grudzielski}. Third Silesian Uprising ( date 2 May - 21 July 1921 y ) the Ehrhardt seen at the field service is "Gorny Slask - Alsacja", the new name was written in white handwriting on the motor bonnet. Yours from Poland Krzysztof.
