The Miris Steel Company Limited

As you probarbly know The Miris Steel Company Limited produced Brodie helmets and is said to have produced Armour for the Renault FT, is there infact any truth in the latter and can anyone tell me what their trademark stamp was on rolled armour plate?

Whitakers red book for 1914 doesnt seem to have them and the company was wound up it seems voluntarily in 1922 so was this purely a war time company?

"The MIRIS STEEL COMPANY. Limited.
Special Resolution.
Passed 26th January, 1922.
Confirmed 13th February, 1922.
AT an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Miris
Steel Company Limited, duly convened and
held at the Cannon Street Hotel, London, E.G., on
the 26th day of January, 1922, the following Special
Resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent Ex-
traordinary General Meeting of the said Company, also
duly convened, and held at the same place on the
13th day of February, 1922, the 'said Special Resolu-
tion was duly confirmed: " That it is desirable that this Company be wound
up voluntarily, and that Henry Gowland Rowley and
Herbert Charles Hicks be appointed Joint Liquidators
for the purposes of such winding-up."
