They look much better than older sets of this manufacturer. Perhaps this is the begining of an new quality for Strelets.

I wonder from which stuf those prototypes are made?

The officer in the middle looks a bit like Haig. Cuts quite a dashing figure, with his greatcoat swirling in the breeze.

Obviously for a winter scene. All or most arty crew figures I have seen in dioramas are dressed for summer heat, so will modellers like these for offering something different or feel that it's not the right season for what they want to portray?

The cold weather attire doesn't bother me at all. For most of the time the weather was bloody awful anyway. Those masters are very good. Much better in proportion and detail than previous offerings.

I wonder how well they will translate to the finished product though. Will they be simplified for ease of release from the mould?

Look good, Small Box Respirators are the wrong way round though, should be easy enough to sand the flap off though

Again, most of the equipment will need shaving off as Gunners simply wouldn't wear it, same goes for wearing a belt with the greatcoat, you're not supposed to even on parade etc

These look like nice figures, hopefully the production pieces will retain the quality. Even if perhaps there are accuracy issues they will still make fine general purpose figures. Well done to Strelets for maintaining the interest in Great War subjects I say.
