The images were taken at the North Ipswich Railway Workshops where Mephisto is displayed. The plastic bubble is Mephisto's

climate controlled environment while it waits for the Qld Museum to find a new home for it in Brisbane. The turret on Mephisto

has been removed since there was a chance the plastic bubble would tear on the turret (from one fo the curators at the rail museum).

It's difficult to get decent images of Mephisto through the plastic sheet.

Gee, thanks for stating the obvious! Mephisto's location was revealed in a previous post and most people can work out that the less than great photos were a result of Mephistos encapsulation.
