That was an interesting piece on those small short-lived countries. Have you ever dug into the Ukrainian history? During the Russian Civil War, the Ukraine was independent, though divided between different factions, like cossacks, anarchists and nationalists. There was nevertheless an official Ukrainian army with its own uniforms. I've attached pictures of Ukrainian uniforms and an Austin A/C of the Petlyura army, hoping this will inspire you to another fine article, on the Ukraine.
Thanks Michel - yes the Ukraine is on my list but it seems awful complicated and most of the sources I I found so far are somewhat partisan and contradict each other. Much the same applies to Georgia and Armenia but I'll get there with luck.
