What do you think... Is this a captured Canon de 155 L Modèle 1877 in service with the German Fuss-Artillerie? Back of photo is dated 23 July 1915, possibly at an exercise area near Lille.
To echo Charlie's remarks, I might add significant numbers of these systems were captured, and along with the 120mm deBange, were happily used by their new owners. though considered obsolete because they lacked a recoil carriage, the Germans none the less, appreciated their "reach", So impressed were they with the the long deBanges guns' performance, the Germans tooled munitions plants to produce the 155mm and 120mm rounds to supplement captured stocks. The only other beute gun ammunition was manufactured for was the Ruski 7,62cm M00/02 systems,
