I saw this update on Armorama and thought I would post it here. This is the link: http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=15394
I just went to the Master Box web site and there are 4 more kits planned. Mk II Male and Female tanks with track spuds and Mk I Male and Female tanks with Special Gaza equipment. This is the address for the page .http://www.mbltd.info/proces_vehicles72.htm This will be great as I always wanted to do Sir Archibald with the equipment to remove the sponson.
Just when I thought the only use for the Airfix kits was to turn them into Mark II; now they are completely redundant! (And I have a ton of them!)
The only problem I can see (just with a quick glance) is that the grousers at the rear are bent instead of flat. Actually, overall the grousers don't look as good as the rest of the model; hopefully it's just a trick caused by the choice of veiwing angle for the photos.
Seems to me they've got the cab correct; looks narrower, with the outermost two rivets closer together than the others.
BRILLIANT news! This is very exciting - like PDA all my Airfix Mk II modifications are now useless! The Gaza option is very interesting and glad to see other theatres are considered
The track grousers do look a little under size however this is just a photo and going by Master Boxes reputation I would say they are correct but I will wait until I can see a part sprue first. Either way we FINALLY have a good Mk I and II in time for the 100th anniversary of the Great War. Good job Master Box!
