10cm Kanone M04

This is a common post card from WWI of German artillery.  I've always thought this gun was closest to a 10cm Kanone M04

What do other think?

I agree.  It is a 10cm Kanone 1904.  These are a few images I have of the 10cm K.04:

I think the image of the gun was the WW1 equivalent of being "photoshopped". From the rear the vertically opening breech on the K04 is really obvious

and the bands around the barrel are quite prominent. I have the advantage since there's a K04 about 10 km away from my place.

Ralph and Charlie, thanks for your comments. I agree about "Photoshop" - this photo made me scratch my head looking at it's "strangeness". Perhaps the original photo quality wasn't so good and the post card maker decided to "Photoshop".
