I've seen the last one before on the Getty Images website; the caption there reads "22nd June 1932: an army tank at Woolwich is removed by the Pickfords company". Obviously on its way to be scrapped...

There was also a presentation tank given to Farningham near Dartford. Been looking for info on it.

Have you tried contacting these nice people?

The Farningham & Eynsford Local History Society.

"Farningham was not given an official presentation tank after the First World War, but received a tank anyway because of the link with Walter Gordon Wilson, one of the pioneering designers of the tank. The Society has provided a photo of the Farningham tank."

Details, phone numbers, etc here: http://www.felhs.org.uk/bulletins/Bulletin%2087%28SEPT2010%29.pdf

I have their bulletin on the Farningham tank. It's well worth having.

Fantastic, thank you!

I've been to see the Ashford tank, and have sat in the Tank Cafe opposite it too.
