In Pskov, in the restoration workshop of the club "rear guard" at the finish line out work on the restoration of the Red Army medium tank T - 28. Recently made its first combat vehicle "steps" after nearly seventy years of neglect.

Restoration works have lasted for several years. This "delay" is related primarily to the fact that in the hands of experts proved only body of the tank, by the way, it is perfectly preserved. Regular time spent on the search for original chassis components, vehicle, engine, tower, equipment and weapons. Through the battle, in which the T-28 took part, the search engines "rearguard" made several expeditions. We also examined the old landfill, communicate with collectors. In the end years of searching for a fighting machine appears to us almost intact, as if fresh from the shops of the famous Kirov factory in Leningrad. Probably in May days tank will participate in the celebrations in Pskov.
