I think it might be an 8-Staal gun - 84mm Krupp designed field gun from 1881. "nuyt" would know exactly what the gun is - try a PM.

Some of these old guns were still in service in WW2.

I think it's an 1874 8cm brons, bought in Switzerland. Calibre 84mm and used by the horse artillery.

 You have a good point, the gun looks a lot like the Krupp 8,4cm guns from the 1870s, were these also bronze cast?

All Dutch sources by the way quote each other in saying these guns were Swiss, even Oerlikon (lol).
