My question is what colour of paint would typically be applied to WW1 russian heavy artillery? Green? Thanks for any info.
I don't have any solid evidence but perhaps the artillery varied in colour as much as the armoured cars did.

The Russians used a fair number of imported artillery pieces it would be interesting to know if they repainted them or just accepted the
original paint colours.

I think the color most museums and collections have used to re-paint their Russian pieces with is an "Apple Green", of the type seen on the Jager Platoon Web Site:

However, I have noticed that some pieces in Russian national musums are painted a much darker shade of Green (see attached photo)
