How did Allied tanks perform a passage of lines? How do you get 100 tanks over your own trenches quickly and without telegraphing your intentions to the enemy?
Do they fill in spots for them to drive over? Do they drop facines into their own trenches? Do they just drive over the top of the trench and hope for the best? I could see that working for a rhomboid tank but not a Renault FT.
