Not wanting to let the train take the strain (& having to pass through lands in Hungarian hands), he decided a little sea trip was in order, so had his own private yacht readied.

Countess Sophie Amalia Theresia Quirinia Henriette Lucretia Magdalena Maria Ignatia von Nostitz-Rieneck (born 1929), daughter of Princess Sophie. Georg, Duke of Hohenberg, (born 1929, Duke since 1977), Prince Albrecht of Hohenberg, Prince Peter of Hohenberg & Prince Gerhard of Hohenberg. All children of his eldest son Maximilian. Prince Franz Ferdinand Karl Georg Ernst von Hohenberg & Prince Ernst Georg Elemer Albert Josef Antonius Peregrinus Rupertus Maria von Hohenberg both of whom are sons of their youngest son, Prince Ernst Alfons Franz Ignaz Joseph Maria Anton von Hohenberg.
So quite a few grandchildren still alive!

At 10am, 100 years ago today, a train carrying our tourists and their entourage pulled into the station at Sarejevo. 45 minutes later, a consumptive, teenager fired two shots, the echoes of which still reverberate around the world.

Besides the car the Austrian war museum in Vienna has the handgun used to kill him and his wife and the Tunic he was wearing.
