Welcome to the Forum, Watercarrier. In response: 1. Yes, it was a Mark III Female. 2. All Mark IIIs were built by the Metropolitan Carriage, Wagon & Finance Company at Oldbury. 3. I presume you mean its service with the Tank Corps. If so, the answer is probably not. It would have been used for training almost certainly at Bovington Camp, Wool, Dorset. I suggest you contact The Friends of the Lincoln Tank and buy a copy of their CD-ROM on presentation tanks, which will tell you more about its time in Cleethorpes.
