A SCRAP OF PAPER  (1914-1918): This film, made by Debenham & Co. of York, was made in order to raise money for the dependents of war casualties as well as soldiers disabled during the conflicts of World War I.  It features a mixture of drama and actuality footage.

EDEN CAMP COLLECTION NEWSREELS  (1914): This is a compilation consisting of various Topical Budget and Gaumont Graphic newsreals from the First World War.  The first item includes footage of the bomb damage in Scarborough following the 1914 attack, and other news items feature events during the war in Europe.

MILITARY RACE  (1916) This film, made by Debenham & Co., documents a military race at the Beverley Racecourse sometime during the First World War.  The regiments taking part are not identified; however, Lance Corporal Chapell is the winner of the race.

SCENES AT THE RIPON HIGHLAND SPORTS  (1916) This film was made for the Ripon Palladium Cinema where it was shown in May 1916.  It captures a sports day for the people of Ripon and the regiments based at the Army Camp at Ripon during World War I.  Shortly after this film was made, many of the regiments competing in this sports day were sent to the battlefields of the Somme

Thanks for this last site. The others were known to me but not this one. Some really nice inter-war and WW2 footage.
