Been building WWI models since I first found the Airfix Mark I in the late 1950's. Â Recently finished the Schneider and St. Chamond (photos attached) in 1/35 and posted photos on Track Link. Â Will be using this site much more due to its focus on what I'm interested in. Â
Just received the Takom Mark I Female and intend to modify the kit into a Mark II. Â Still have the FT-17 to build and the Takom Mark IV. Â Â

The base coat (the light tan on the Schneider and the blue-gray on the St. Chamond) is Tamiya, airbrushed. Â I then use a pencil to draw in the shapes. Â Vallejo acrylics are then brush painted. Â After the paint is applied I use a Micron .005 black ink pen to outline the colors. Â Then everything is airbrushed with a light coat of Dullcote. Â
Hope this helps.
