One question about AC "Lotta"

Could you please help me with the next question:

I'm working around the model of the second version of Hotchkiss-Ighorsky armored car, also known as "Lotta". And have only one picture, where I may get color from.

But I am not sure if this color is correct.

Maybe, somebody has more information?

I think it's likely the Hotchkiss-Izhorsky was painted in Feldgrau. The difficulty is deciding what shade the Feldgrau should be.

WW1 Feldgrau seems to have been quite variable and a different shade than the grey WW2 equivalent. At a guess the colour may have been

something like the grey-green colours Wayne McCullough used on his A7V models.

I think the last line of the placard on the vehicle side is "Abt. 1" standing for "Abteilung 1".

Regards,

Charlie

Thank you for answer!

As I understood, you mean the color 110,150,110 (I grabbed it with "pixie")

Ad thank you for correction with "Abt.1" - I could not read this line.

Looks too pale green to me - sampling from the images of Wayne's models I get 80:72:51 , 96:99:68 , 129:108:77 , 117:118:110 (all rgb in decimal) - any one of those colours would be an acceptable Feldgrau (I think).

Regards,

Charlie

Interesting . . .   Can you tell me how to search for a color, e.g. khaki?
