I am trying to determine what color French heavy artillery (ALGP and ALVF) was painted. I have Guy Francois book "Les Canons de la Victoire, 1914-18", but the green color of the guns in the illustrations seems to be unnaturally bright or bilious. And then, some of the railway guns are painted grey color. Any ideas?
