As known, Russians used armjred tractors in Civil War.

Can anybody help to found the scale drawings of usual tractors: Bullock-Lombard, Allis-Chalmers, Clayton, Ruston?

Hello Aleksandr

I have been collecting information on these tractors for years, I have some drawings, I will look them up for you, My drawings are of the Allis-Chalmers. I have been writing an article for Landships, it has been slow go, but there is quite a bit of information on these awesome and strange machines.

All the Best

Good day, Eugene!

Can you read Russian?

I'll try to found some books. First of all -

M.Baryatinskiy, M.Kolomiets. - Armored Cars of Russian Army 1906-1917.

M.Kolomiets, I.Moshchanskiy, S.Romadin. - Tanks of Civil War.

S.Volkov. - White Movement. Encyclopedia of Civil War.

I'll check more. Most part of new published books about WWI are translated from foreign authors. In soviet times this war was unpopular and shoun as forerunner of revolution only.

About Civil war - the best for my opinion: N.Kakurin. - How the Revolution was combat.

And now some memoirs was published - Denikin, and different digests. You can check site www.posev.ru - they issued some books & magazines about Civil war. But everything in Russian.

Good day, Tim!

I'll be very happy. Allis-Chalmers was used for first armored tractor in 1917 - "Akhtyrets" in Petrograd. Later re-named as "Krasnyy Petrograd".
