Steam Wheel Tank Update.

I've rewritten the article to take account of recent developments: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_Wheel_Tank

All thoughts welcomed.

Much of this seems to be the handiwork of a Hungarian gent, who has lifted the photo from Landships. The incorrect article can be found on Hungarian and Polish Wikipedia.

Wikipedia - where facts depend on the day of the week and what language you speak.

Did you consider deleting the external link to the old Tanks! website page? It's still available in archive.org and repeats the incorrect information you've removed in the Wikipedia article.

Regards,

Charlie

Oh, Charlie. You poor innocent. Did you think Wikipedia hadn't thought of that?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Dead_link

In the event that you can't be arsed, then let me explain:

We don't declare a link dead and remove it from Wikipedia. For the very reasons you put put forward, we place it into suspended animation so that, after all the information has been corrected, someone can find the incorrect information and reveal their discovery to the World, via Wikipedia. Then we have to start all over again. And so on. Forever.

That makes as much sense as most of Wikipedia's editorial policies. I gave up contributing when a section on an artillery piece I'd translated

from the original manual was replaced by gibberish from some dickwit whose 2nd or 3rd language was English. One of the editors supported

the gibberish guy - figured that I was wasting my time.

Regards,

Charlie
