Color of rubber tires?

A good day to you all,

i am working on the 1:35 ICM model T ambulance.

What color should the tires be? I found this: http://landships.activeboard.com/t62538502/rubber-then-and-now/

The instruction of the model says black but I have read before of white colored tires. Who can give the answer so that I can make it correct.

best regards,

Willem

Tires around this time were of a darker shade buff on American vehicles, but a greyish colour on British one's.

Hello Willem,

Vallejo make two Rubber colours in their Panzer Aces range, Light and Dark, numbers 305 and 306 respectively.
