Oh dear - another round of bizarre WW1 models

I rarely comment on plastic models - not interested, too expensive, don't like paint/glue fumes.

However, the recent 1/35 Takom Whippet box art moves me to comment. The guys at Takom have

obviously been at the blue mushrooms again - Whippet with camouflage pattern - I don't think so.

Unless it's a model of one of the Japanese Whippets which may have been painted in a camo pattern - anyone read the Japanese script?

on the box?

You're right!

It's a special edition box concerning the japanese Whippets. The decals sheet is specially interesting, including markings for the first japanes MarkIV too!

The tanks recieved new MG (included), different exhaust cover and usually a mobile driver hatch.

Several pics show the Whippets with 2 or 3 tones camo, sometime outligned with a Black or dark brown color.
