I would like to introduce to you a new model company owned by my friend Luis Vargas VargasScaleModels.com “Bringing History to Life”. He produces highly detailed 1/35th scaled 3d printed and resin mortars and bunkers. (Catalogue attached). I will be doing an open box report and build report soon for the French de 150mm T Mle 1917 Fabry R3D-003 and the German 25cm schwere Minenwerfer n/A R3D-002 +and his just release highly detailed wood bunker kit R3D-010. (Photos attached). Also he has available an amazing super detailed 240mm LT Mle16 Batigonlle Trench Mortar R3D-001. He will also be releasing the super impressive 38cm sehr schwere Minenwerfer R3D-004, one of my personal favorites and one I am very much looking forward too. He is currently working on some real nice and rare kits like the Italian Obice 305/17 Modello 16 Affusto De Stefano “Simply Amazing” slated for 2019 release. At this moment he is also working on a website, but you can purchase straight from him or through ebay.
No answer yet? I don't know the reason for it, but this post definitely deserves a feedback.
Although my modeling interests have changed slightly, these 3d printed mortars and especially the Italian Obice 305/17 are an absolute highlight to me.
As far as I can say, the accuracy of these resine kits is very good and they are well researched and realized.
Hats off - and thanks for the tip!

Unfortunately the timber and wicker trench supports/revetments are pirated recasts of Model Cellar items MC35115 and MC35116. I was able to obtain a set of each to investigate whether or not they were recasts. I have the complete paper trail of the EBAY and PayPal transactions from when he sold them. I also have the shipping envelope he used with his return address in Visalia. After close inspection, I can confirm they are recasts. The front, top, side, and back are exact matches. Below are some pics showing the Vargas recasts (dark grey) with my product (yellow) and the original master pattern (third lightest colored item) which was hand sculpted with sculpey over basswood.
After examining my sales records, I discovered that Luis Vargas actually purchased them directly from me. Again, I have the full paper trail showing his purchase, the US Postal receipt from my mailing, and the tracking information showing delivery to his address in Visalia. Then within a few weeks he had turned around and was recasting them as his own.
Recasting is the most egregious act in this hobby and should not be tolerated.

Plagiarising someone else's work is absolutely unforgivable

Patriot files so it has been alleged have a reputation for passing off other peoples work as their own. If that is true or not I couldn't possibly comment.
I'm shocked that this happens in our hobby. Recasting is a real disgrace. It hurts everyone. Quite frankly, this is the most blatant example I've seen. According to the thread, it seems that the party purchased the original and started recasting shortly afterwards.
